Around the World Day
On Wednesday, we celebrated Around the World Day where children visited Fiji, Egypt, Nepal, United States of America and Italy. The children had the opportunity to learn about each country including the location, the capital city, the flag, the languages spoken, landmarks and lots of other interesting facts! There was a range of activities to complete including making a sea life collage, making a River Nile crown, making pizza, tasting food from Nepal and line dancing. To complete the day, the whole school gathered in the hall to share what they had learnt and what they enjoyed about the day. The finale was the whole school joining together to perform the line dance they had practised during the day. What a wonderful day everyone had!
